Summary:

So many times, people ask me how my background as a Structural Design Engineer has influenced my role as a Planning Engineer. Picture this: as a Structural Design Engineer, I was like someone piecing together a complex 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle, developing a keen sense for spotting potential issues before they even surfaced—almost like having a crystal ball for construction challenges.

Now, as a Planning Engineer, it’s like I’ve been upgraded to the command center of a high-tech spaceship. My experience allows me to foresee and manage potential obstacles with the precision of a maestro conducting a symphony, ensuring every project runs smoother than a greased weasel.

My career began as an Intern at Gohar Construction Company, where I learned the ropes of practical design implementation with Alliance Consultants. This experience laid the groundwork for my subsequent role as a Trainee Engineer with Falaknaz Group, where I mastered site management and coordination.

At Loya Associates, I contributed to the structural design of high-rises like the stylish DoubleTree by Hilton in Nathiagali. This role enriched my understanding of engineering principles, setting the stage for my planning career. I then took on roles as a Project Coordinator with Emaar Pakistan, managing projects like the Park Edge Early Works and Coral Towers Repair & Strengthening. In between Emaar Pakistan and Loya Associates I've also served as a Project Coordinator at Taj Gasoline Pvt. Ltd., where I handled critical projects in the energy sector.

Currently, I’m a Planning Engineer with Al-Bina Al Markazy, overseeing significant projects such as Karbala International Airport and Budoor Al-Najaf Compound. My expertise spans various building codes like UBC-97 and ACI 318, and I’m proficient in tools like Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Power BI, Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, CSI ETABS, CSI SAP2000, CSI SAFE16, Microsoft Projects, and Microsoft Office. With these skills, I ensure every project is executed with precision, from blueprint to reality.

  • Providing comprehensive project planning and scheduling services for major infrastructure projects.
  • Developing baseline and recovery schedules using Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Overseeing project schedule and cost control, and preparing detailed reports.
